Wraptivo 2011 CR-Z Type-F Concept

That's it, must spread the CR-Z love around! Wraptivo CR-Z Type-F concept. F stands for fun and that's what Wraptivo's philosophy is all about.
Car is still in a developing phase but considering that Wraptivo's technology partners are Tein, HKS, BF Goodrich, Volk Racing and Hondata, you can expect final outcome to satisfy all the Honda enthusiasts. Unlike turbocharged Hybrid-R, Wraptivo CR-Z Type-F is gonna be supercharged with HKS supercharger.

CR-Z Hybrid R

I'm always wining about hybrids and eco engines, but this is over now. Hold your breath, it's Honda CR-Z Hybrid R concept, which was revealed on Sema Show few days ago. I must admit I'm falling in love! It's powered by turbocharged hybrid engine which produces 200hp. Honda R story continues.

If you're still skeptical about hybrid little CR-Z hatch, SEMA show 2010 should change your mind.

Mugen CRZ

The sharpest Honda CRZ so far with sharp bodykit and agressive rear wing. Mugen knows the job, no doubt about it. Now we're just waiting for someone with enough guts to install K20 unit!

CR-Z C-West Aero

Still fresh Honda hybrid CR-Z with C-West aero kit. Tuners really grabbed Honda CR-Z to put some magic on it. But we're still waiting on some real engine tuning.

Hybrids are relatively new stuff and tuning of CR-Z engine is really going to be a challenge. Is K20 swap with Hasport mounts really a bad idea for CR-Z?

OLD vs. NEW

Time is passing bye, cars are changing, oldschool style is no longer popular. But legends will live forever, lightweight petrol monsters will never be forgotten. It breaks my heart seeing less and less true sport Japanese cars on the road.

Which one would you prefer?

Honda CRX and CR-Z

Toyota AE86 and “new AE86”

Legendary Hachi-Roku replaced with new one, but true legend will never really get reborn.8070802002mini1l

Skylines R32, R33, R34 and R35

Through years, Skylines GTR are actually becoming better, but they have more and more help with electronics, latest GTR R35 can be driven fast even by grandmother behind the wheel. r32-r33-r34-r35

Nissan 370Z and 300ZX

HKS CR-Z

More and more tuners started to tune still fresh Honda CR-Z. After some hot shots from Spoon Sports and concept pictures from Mugen company, now HKS published some pictures of their version of black CR-Z.

As always, HKS is cheap with revealing details until the very last moment. Engine work, exhaust, rims (Advan RS I suppose), body and brakes. Nothing drastic, but let yourself be surprised.

I’m still skeptical about that hybrid engines, with a K20 unit CR-Z would be a real pocket rocket, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
